The month of October marks the 10 year anniversary of the Arena Grand Movie Theatre, and to celebrate, we invite you to join us for a month full of fun, excitement, and spectacular deals! Celebrate with us for a month packed full of special events!
Join us for the Ohio Film & Music Festival 10/6 - 10/9, then Wonderland's Cinemusica where filmmakers, musicians, and performing artists team up for an artistic celebration on 10/15. And don't miss the Columbus premiere of "Take Me Home" written, directed, produced by, and starring Ohio native Sam Jaegar best known for his current role on TV's "Parenthood." Jaegar (an Otterbein graduate) will do a Q&A at the Arena Grand following all showings Friday October 21 - Sunday October 23. A portion of the proceeds from "Take Me Home" benefit Autism Speaks.
What's even better? To thank you for your continued support we are offering everyone a $10 deal throughout the month of October. Mention our anniversary special at the Box Office and receive an admission ticket and a small popcorn for only $10. Offer valid Sunday - Thursday the entire month of October and can not be used for future show purchases.

The Ohio Film + Music Festival unveiled the schedule for its inaugural event, which will take place October 6-9, 2011. The Ohio Film + Music Festival is a four-day event highlighting the artistry of filmmakers and musicians originating from the 17th state. Curated by OFMF founders Eric Mahoney and Scott Johnson, the fest will showcase the diverse array of creative talent Ohio has produced through the years--from auteur filmmaker Jim Jarmusch to acclaimed hip-hop deejay RJD2 and world-renowned rock bands like the Heartless Bastards and New Bomb Turks. Tickets to each of the films and each of the three nightly concerts are sold separately at Brown Paper Tickets. We are excited to announce the upcoming Columbus Premiere of the film "Take Me Home", directed, written, produced by, and also starring Ohio native and Otterbein graduate, Sam Jaegar. This extraordinary independent film has received critical acclaim and rave audience reviews at numerous film festivals across the country. Recently this picture won "Best Music in a Film" at the Nashville Film Festival.
"Take Me Home" is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Thom and Claire. When Claire jumps in Thom's beat-up cab in New York, neither realize that they have just begun a journey together of self-discovery that will have them crossing the United States in an effort to find home. In addition to Sam Jaeger, the film also stars: Amber Jaegar, Victor Garber, and Lin Shaye.
Sam Jaegar will be joining us at the Arena Grand to conduct a Q&A session with the audience during the opening weekend (date/time TBD). Mr. Jaegar is well-known for his current role on NBC's "Parenthood" as well as his roles in numerous films including: Lucky Number Slevin, Catch and Release, Behind Enemy Lines, and Hart's War.

This incredible movie will open at the Arena Grand on Friday October 21, 2011 and will run through Thursday October 27, 2011 with one showing each day. 20% of ticket sales for the run of this film will be donated to Autism Speaks. This is a wonderful opportunity to support a local graduate, see an amazing film, and help a very important cause.

Join us after the fireworks on Friday July 1st when all tickets for non-3D movies are $5.00 (3D features $7.00). Why sit in the traffic when you can sit in an air conditioned theater watching a great movie instead of staring at lines and lines of tail lights. All movies will start between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Tickets available only at our box office and only on Friday July 1st.
